When traveling through Europe, pretty much anywhere you make a pit stop will be beautiful. I was fortunate enough to have made a stop in Innsbruck, Austria. This picturesque cookie cutter city is an international renowned winter sports center and host to the Winter Olympics. With colorful store fronts and the Karwendel Alps as my view, I indulge in an apfelstrudel (apple strudel) and begin to drift off forgetting I only have a couple hours in Innsbruck. After spending some time in Germany it was pretty easy getting around Austria since their native language is, in fact German. Please don’t be one of those obnoxious tourists who refuse to learn the country’s native language. As long as you make an attempt to learn a few words, the locals will appreciate your effort. Danke!
